Well, my last year of high school is starting to wrap up. I have about 30 days left (not counting the half days and days off that seniors get) and I've just made my college decision. This fall, I'm going to be going to SCAD (The Savannah College of Art and Design), which is completely mind-blowing to me. As I said on my Facebook, I can't really express a singular emotion because they're all just kind of flooding out of me like a volcanic rainbow of whimsy.
PFFTTT.
But really. This is going to be the something that'll drastically change my life. Savannah's fourteen hours away from home, I'll get a taste of what it's like living on my own (hopefully with nice roommates, oh dear god), and I'll finally get to immerse myself in the one thing that really makes me happy.
Because seriously. The only class I've ever felt comfortable in at school was the art room. And Mrs. Bielak's room. She was my sophomore English teacher, and currently my Creative Writing teacher. She is the bee's knees, guys. One of my favorite teachers of all time. :I
ANYWAY. Yes. It's going to be the weirdest transition of my life. I mean, it'll be like moving away, only . . . in a happy way. I've moved like, six times in my life and literally all but two of them was kind of horrible.
So, I'm just really hoping that I have a smooth transition into the college life and don't have some . . . terrible roommates. I mean, it'd be kind of nice to be able to have them be my friends. It would make freshman year a lot easier. Pfft. D8
And then I'll also have *
NoFKsweregiven there, so I'm sure we'll be stupid together and stuff because I've been waiting to do that shit for like, five years. LOL.
Now all I have left to do is finish off strong in school, apply for some scholarships, decide what dorm I'm going to stay in, graduation rehearsals, the actual graduation, graduation party, and . . . have an amazing last summer with my two best friends before I start college. And get in shape. Derp.
HOLY SHIT.
Oh, and I got a MacBrook Pro a couple weeks ago, so that'll make digital art a lot easier. Once I start up on it again this summer. I have like, three painting projects for my art classes right now and I'm trying to keep the rest of my grades up (I'M LOOKING AT YOU MATH, YOU JERK) and . . . *shot* . . . PERSONAL ART IS A LITTLE DIFFICULT FOR ME RIGHT NOW. But don't fret, I have a list of things I have in mind to draw once school's over.
