Character Busts

So, I thought it would be a fun idea to make their names look similar to the way their handwriting would look! . . . it was a pain in the ass.

YEAH.

Well, I definitely need to work on shoulders/neck/and how big I make the head. They'd need bigger shoulders in this case.

Name: Jeevan Everett Moore

Relations: Father of Jack and Jackie. Husband of Jiya.
Basic description: Looking quite intimidating at 6’5’’, Jeevan may not look like the kind of guy who will take your shit—and that’s true. Don’t get the wrong idea about him though. Underneath all that meat and muscle is a big ole’ teddy bear just wanting a hug, his wife insists there is. Even though there are times when Jeevan seems detached from the world, or ready to pop a bullet in your ass (assuming you’re male and are goggling at his daughter), he’s actually not that bad of a guy; he has some humor and typically doesn’t want to cause trouble. Although he does what’s right for his family and friends, he still can’t help but be plagued with some unpleasant memories from the past that just don’t want to leave him alone. And, oddly enough, these unpleasant memories come in unpleasant forms—forms that he swears to believe are ghosts.

Loud, quirky, and goofy, Casey just doesn’t care what people think of her, which tends to be a great quality . . . even though most of the time she just can’t take a hint from people. She’s open about everything and anything, and typically finds awkward conversations to be the most endearing (unless it’s sexual, pfft).

Basic description: Practically the epitome of affection (no seriously, Jack complains about her babying him all the time), Jiya cares wholeheartedly about her family and friends and puts them before herself, which can lead to her being taken advantage of. Thriving with energy, she often gets ecstatic about some of the most insignificant, or overlooked things, convinced that she can make some good out of the bad. She will often ramble off into Japanese when agitated or worried, much like her overbearing mother.

Basic Description: Behind all the gristle of her attitude, and the sometimes searing pain of her bitchiness, Jackie hides a much more lenient, more vulnerable, and almost playful side of her that only her family and close friends get to see—a side that plays juvenile pranks on her twin brother, has an irrational fear of clowns, and listens to 80s/90s music. Jackie is a go-getter girl who’s always alert and with the program. Most guys say she’s unattainable; that the only way you can really approach her is if she really just approaches you.

Basic description: That overall goof with the big, stupid grin who talks to everyone and anyone, even if they’re not so nice. Always eager to make new friends, Jack sometimes seems a bit too happy, which may be one of the reasons he’s had difficulties making them in the past; however he’s always happy to talk to people just to talk, even if they react negatively. Although quite clueless, accident-prone, and extremely impulsive, Jack’s the glass half-full kind of guy who typically has the best intentions, even if they backfire in the end. He’s practically a ten year-old trapped inside a seventeen year-old's body, hyperness and naivety very much included. Times two.

Comes off as a douche sometimes, like he's just talking to you to get something out of you, but he's actually just genuinely trying to meet new people and make somebody's day. Good Guy Gage has a big heart, is a talented musician, and one heck of a soccer/hockey goalkeeper.

Basic Description: One of the most egotistical, arrogant, pigheaded people you will ever meet, unless you know him well. Known as both a womanizer and a killer linebacker on the football team, there's more to Finn than you'd think. A victim of four years of on and off severe child abuse under the hand of his drunk and grieving mother, Finn was taken in by neighbors and long time friends, Susan and Gage Carver at the age of fourteen/fifteen. Still dealing with the physical and emotional damage dealt by his mother with the help of a therapist, Finn does a good job hiding it all with the ego he has built up over the years.
