Senior Student/Changing Usernames

Well, I'm finally a senior in high school. Weirdest thing ever. Even though I don't have very many friends at school (even though it's still more than I had my freshman year, thank god), I still feel like I'm going to miss it all once it's all over. Pretty sure that's only because of my art classes though. PFFT. Definitely going to miss my art friends and art teacher.

Anyway, I've been a bit slow on artwork, I know. It seems like when I'm not drawing, I'm writing. And when I'm not writing, I'm drawing. . . . I have three art classes this year: Advanced Ceramics/Sculpting (first semester, two periods long), Painting and Advanced Senior Studio Drawing (each one period long, both semesters, all year round). Now, I can easily say that I'm comfortable with my Drawing class. Pencils, graphite, and charcoal are so comforting to me. However, I've never really painted seriously before (I've done watercolor, and a tiny bit of Acrylics freshman year for my Art Foundations class) and when it comes to 3D art it's just kind of foreign to me (despite taking a Ceramics/Sculpting class last year). What I'm saying is that it doesn't really come natural to me the moment I touch it; I have to sit there and mess around with it for days (or in this case, a couple hours a day, everyday during the school week) before I'm confident with it. I'm doing alright with painting. I think that's because in Advanced Drawing we're painting murals for our school. Helped me understand how to blend and whatnot. Annnnnd I managed to take on the damn pottery wheels and create three bowls. Somehow. It's really difficult. It's all about centering your clay and having a firm hold--no wobbling or you mess it all up. Had trouble with that, but I'm doing alright now.

Pretty sure you guys don't care about that part. PFFTT.

So, I've been meaning to change my username for quite some time now. Mostly because PaopuDestiny was inspired by Kingdom Hearts, which I'm definitely not obsessed with it like I used to be four or so years ago. I mean, of course I'm still going to geek out over the new games and merchandise, but . . . I don't have my life revolve around it. Like I used to.

With that . . . I've made a list of usernames that I'm thinking about using. It's time for some change, and I thought now would be kind of good since my birthday's on Friday. Time to open the seventeen year-old door. Speaking of which, I'm just going to be turning eighteen the very first month of college next school year. That's a bit nerve-racking. XDD *dork*

I'm going for a quirky/stupid Casey-esque kind of thing.

Also, I think I'll update my ID next week. With a picture of my face. That may or may not be from the summer. Or maybe a more recent one if I can think of anything creative enough. We'll seeeeee. XDD
